The Traffic Engineering Lab at the institute was established with the vision to support research and instruction in the traffic engineering and the broader transportation engineering area.The Division has well-equipped laboratories with
modern equipment for traffic engineering studies.The laboratory has advanced equipment along with computing facility for graduate students and research scholars.A number of application-software packages are available in the lab.
Undergraduate and graduate students use the laboratory as an integral part of their transportation and traffic engineering coursework and examine different traffic management strategies for their capstone design projects.
