Campus Wi-Fi

NIT Uttarakhand Computer Center rolled out Campus Wi-Fi for all faculty members, PG students, Research Scholars and administrative staff working within campus. Campus Wi-Fi empowers users to stay connected to the internet via NKN all the time across the campuses. Campus Wi-Fi has been designed with utmost security and reliability. The vision for establishing the same is to enable Researchers strengthens and boosts their knowledge and research capabilities and share the resources available through NKN.

NIT Uttarakhand campus is fully under CCTV Surveillance (24*7) with more than 50 CCTV cameras installed with latest configurations. DVR and IP cameras are instaaled in hostels, departments, administarative buildings, canteen, mess, main gate etc.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Hardware (PCs, Workstations and Servers), Software and Peripherals like Printers, Scanners and CD-Writers etc. at institute level.

Email Facilities

Email facility is available for all faculty members, Research Scholars and administrative staff (designation based) of the University for their Research and official communications.Currently more than 1000 Email accounts are running for Institute Faculty, Students and Staff on Google server.

Biometric Attendance System

Biometric Attendance System (BAS) is implemented for attendance of all the employee. Currently we have 10 devices which are installed in various departments and administratitive building.BAS link
