The Student Activities in different form continues throughout the year. Some activities organized by CSA are part of institute culture and ensures participations of all the students of Institute. As large number of programmes are organized, students of the institute are automatically trained in organizational skills.

THE ANNUAL TECHNICAL COMPETITION OF NIT UTTARAKHAND

Prodyogeeky'17- The Annual Technical Competition was organised between September 8, 2017 to September 10, 2017. Various technical competitions related to Innovation, Robotics, Programming, Modelling, Designing and Quiz were organised with the help of Technical Coordinators of all branches, Kalam Robotics (The Robotics club), Samiksha- The Society of Civil Engineering, KODESK (The Programming Club) and Q&A Club.

The event was inaugurated on September 8, 2017 with the lamp lightening ceremony in the esteemed presence of Dr. Kuldeep Sharma (Associate Dean, Student Welfare), Mr. Suryanarayana Gangolu (In charge, Technical), Mr. Rohit Kumar (In charge, Technical), Associate Deans, HOD's of various department and other faculty members. The event was followed by Yaksha Prashna, a general technical quiz and Mastermind. Programmers enthusiastically participated in Screening Test related to Computer Science. B'Max, The Line Following Bot event was the last event of the day.

The second day witnessed a major crowd in the competitions such as Tower Making and Bridge Designing. Coding events like Blind Programming, Debugging and Code Rush were organised. Mechanism based events such as Catapult, Water Rocket Launching and Hydraulic Model Designing and Designing based events like MATLAB, SCADA, CAD Modelling and Proteus were organised successfully. The final day started with Home Planning, Bull's Eye, Electrocution and the final round of Yaksha Prashna. Technical Presentation, Lacunadjute (Rf Interfacing), Resistance Sake were also organised. The day ended with the major event of Prodyogeeky i.e. Aavishkar which had given a platform to the students to showcase their talents and innovative ideas. This event attracted a huge number of participants from various branches and a huge audience.

So, Prodyogeeky'17 was marked one of the most successful technical events with a huge number of participants and innovators.
